The English Premier League, or simply the EFL as it is commonly known, is the highest level of the English football league system. The EPL is currently contested in 20 clubs. It runs from May through August and each club plays 38 matches. The EPL in the UK is operated as part of the Football Association of England (FA) and not like its American counterpart.

A tournament that boasts the names of some of Europe's most famous and storied clubs, the competition continues to acquire tremendous popularity and will be the most viewed league on the planet.
